Michael Goettee
Michael Goette was born
in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the University of Florida
and received bachelors' degrees in both advertising (1969) and art
(1976, with honors). He moved to Atlanta in 1976.

Credits include numerous commissions; several one-man shows; purchases
by the Columbus Museum of Art; The Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cologne,
Germany; Xavier Roberts (Creator of the Cabbage Patch Dolls).
Graphic
Design:
He was a staff artist for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution
for eight years and continued his design and illustration experience
which has more recently included 10 years as a magazine art director
for two publishing companies, followed by marketing design for Morris
Visitor Publications. Currently Michael is cutting back on the
commercial work to devote more time to painting and sculpture.
